Sometimes Plan But Sometimes Wing It

Thrifted denim long-sleeved polo, Lee black jeans, Random brand studded white cuff

Has it been weeks since I last blogged? Goodness! School has been hella draining and the irony is the days I get free cuts for subjects is the most exhausting. That is thanks to the vast intervals between my classes. There is no choice but to eat, walk, play, bum and chill around Taft just to kill.

But thank Heaven, last week my weekend was pretty productive. My highschool bestfriends and I had a random dinner at Pepper Lunch, Greenbelt 5 even though I opt to not go out on Saturdays post-NSTP sessions. But curry beef is such a winner that's hard to refuse! Sorry, I was too lazy and not made-up for an outfit shot.

Lately, I think I've been growing a clumsy gene. Major failure happened at the resto when I spilled my glass of Sprite not knowing what really caused it. Bleh!

I might've just created a philosophy; my days are better when I've planned my school outfit the day before, already. Haha. Today was good-steady-happy. You get what I mean right? Every element of the day was just about right, except... For the outrageous Manila heat!!! Hence the flowy top that's actually so delicate to iron. And as for the necklace, I am so in love!

Pardon my very disheveled, post-schoolday self. I barely had time to take an outfit shot in school so I took it myself the moment I arrived home. Thanks to the "abandoned" room in our decades-old house, self-timer, the zoom-in option and Photoshop! I had to edit it old school because the original colors that turned out weren't too pleasing.

Because food stock was lacking at home, I ate "breakfast for dinner" last night and apparently, the same situation occurred once again tonight. Tonight's version of old-fashioned oatmeal + skimmed milk was topped with sliced apples and melons. Ahh, the healthy life, we meet again. Noticed that I actually sleep better when eating meals like this. Time to shape up for the summer!

On a side note, it was hard to ignore my little cousin, Ciara as I was photographing my dinner. She looked at me straight in the eyes and flashed a pose, as if saying, "take my picture instead!" So here is one the many shots I took of her. Right after, she started to meddle with her mom's iTouch again and popped and locked to Black Eyed Peas' Imma Be. Btw, tomorrow is her 4th birthday. Unlimited cuteness!

Au revoir for now. You would think my plate's empty already but I still have to catch up on reading Esquivel's Like Water For Chocolate for my Human Literature class midterms scheduled tomorrow at 8am.

College Never Looked This Good

If there is one magazine worth reading and keeping on top of your pile of glossy pages, that would be ABS-CBN Publishing's CHALK MAGAZINE!

Do grab a copy of the March issue featuring the fresh Isabelle Daza from your favorite bookstore! :)

This is making me feel so summer-y already. Hope I would get the chance to assist in photoshoots again come the vacation! What's your plan this summer?
